Hwy 52 northbound closed between Inver Grove Heights and St. Paul April 23-26
Northbound and southbound ramps from Southview Boulevard/Mendota Road closed April 19-26
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists traveling northbound on Highway 52 between I-494 in Inver Grove Heights and Plato Boulevard in St. Paul will encounter the first of multiple weekend closures beginning Friday, April 23.
Weather permitting, northbound Highway 52 will be closed and detoured between I-494 and Plato Boulevard beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, April 23 so crews can resurface the road. To bypass the closure, motorists should follow the signed detour using eastbound I-494, northbound Highway 61 and westbound I-94 to Highway 52.
All lanes are scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m., Monday, April 26.
Beginning at 5 a.m., Monday, April 19, the ramp from Mendota Road/Southview Boulevard to northbound Highway 52 and the ramp from southbound Highway 52 to Mendota Road/Southview Boulevard will close for approximately 7 days.
These lane and ramp closures are the first of seven weekend directional closures on Highway 52. While crews have the road closed, they will be resurfacing the road between I-494 in Inver Grove Heights and Highway 156/Concord Street in St. Paul as well as repairing concrete between Concord Street and Plato Boulevard in St. Paul.
During construction there will also be several ramp closures in this area that will last up to one week.
