Hwy 43 reduced to one lane near I-90 for culvert repair
RUSHFORD, Minn. – Motorists on Hwy 43 south of Interstate 90 will encounter a traffic signal and single-lane traffic beginning July 1 as crews prepare to repair a culvert under the road, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane closure and traffic signal placement are at mile marker 32. The northbound lane will be closed near the site of the culvert. A traffic signal will be in place and motorists should stop when it’s red and proceed when it’s green. Warning signs will alert motorists in advance of the lane closure.
The construction work is expected to begin July 6, but the lane will be closed July 1. Work is expected to be completed the week of July 12.
