Hwy 169, Winnebago to Vernon Center construction nearly complete
MANKATO, Minn. – The construction on Highway 169 between Winnebago and Vernon Center is nearly complete, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists may encounter short-term delays near Amboy for about one more week as crews work to finish minor construction in this area. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers.
The project, which began on July 26, included resurfacing more than 13 miles of highway, as well as guardrail improvements, from the northern city limits of Winnebago to Kendall Street in Vernon Center.
Minnesota Paving & Materials of Rogers was awarded the project with a bid of $4,231,372.
