MnDOT, along with DNR, to host virtual public meeting Dec. 7 for Hwy 23 resurfacing project, Perch Lake habitat restoration project
Duluth, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation, along with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, is hosting a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the Highway 23 resurfacing project in Gary New Duluth and the Perch Lake habitat restoration project.
The resurfacing project stretches along Hwy 23 from Hwy 39 to 5th Street. It is scheduled for 2023. The DNR project at Perch Lake is scheduled for 2022 and is to restore fish and wildlife habitat at the lake.
The Dec. 7 public meeting will include a presentation on both projects and time for questions. More information on both projects and a link to the virtual meeting can be found on the project webpage at mndot.gov/d1/projects/hwy23.
