Kimball community invited to Hwy 15 project open house
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an in-person open house to learn about upcoming roadwork projects on Highway 15 in Kimball. The open house will be held at Kimball City Hall (1 Main St. N) on Tuesday, March 8 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guests can come and go as they please to the event as a formal presentation will not be given.
The MnDOT project team will have design layouts available to view and will answer questions about local work on Highway 15 in 2022 and 2023. For those unable to make the in-person open house, information is provided on the project webpages. Community members are encouraged to learn more about the projects and contact the project team with questions.
Scheduled to begin in April 2022, Highway 15 will undergo roadwork from Willow Creek Park to Highway 55 in Kimball. The reconstruct project will require a detour that uses Highway 55 to Watkins, Meeker County Road 17 and Highway 24 to Kimball. In 2023, crews will resurface Highway 15 from Dassel to Kimball, which also requires a detour.
