MnDOT to host May 2 public meeting for future project on Hwy 210 at west junction with I-94 in Fergus Falls

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend a public meeting on Monday, May 2, from 3:30 to 6 p.m., to learn about a future project to reconstruct Hwy 210 at the west junction with I-94 in Fergus Falls. The meeting will be held at the Otter Tail County Government Center, 500 W. Fir Ave., Fergus Falls, with formal presentations at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

For this project, MnDOT is exploring design solutions that will improve pavement conditions and mobility, including bridge replacement, ramp reconstruction/realignment, and bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, on Hwy 210 at the west junction with I-94. At the public meeting, the project team will introduce the project, present current conditions, and share the design options that are under consideration. Public comments will help solidify the corridor issues and guide the design options being considered.

Residents, business owners, and area visitors and commuters are encouraged to attend the public meeting. For those who cannot attend in-person or prefer to participate virtually, a recording of the presentation and an online survey to collect comments will be available on the project website from May 2 through May 16.

For more information about the project, visit the project website at mndot.gov/d4/projects/hwy210ramp.

MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. We believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to enjoy the programs, services and activities we provide. If you feel you need a reasonable accommodation in order to fully participate in this event, such as an ASL or spoken language interpreter, or need documents in an alternate format, such as braille or large print, please contact: Janet Miller at 651-366-4720 or email ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
