MnDOT to host virtual public meeting on May 12 for the I-94 to St. Croix construction project
Roseville, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is hosting a virtual public meeting on Thursday, May 12 at 4:30 p.m. to share an overview of the Interstate 94 to St. Croix construction project, as well as what to expect in 2022. There will be a short presentation and a Question-and-Answer session during the virtual public meeting. Registration for this event is available on the project webpage.
MnDOT will be resurfacing the pavement and making other improvements to I-94 between Hwy 120/Century Avenue and the St. Croix River starting this summer through fall 2024. Construction will be split into three stages with the majority of the work happening in 2023 and 2024.
In addition to pavement and ramp work, crews will be constructing a new eastbound lane from I-494 to Woodbury Dr., resurfacing the frontage road (Hudson Rd.) in the project area, repairing drainage, replacing signage, lighting and median barrier. The work is expected to improve overall ride quality, pavement condition, traffic flow, safety and reduce congestion.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print) for this event, please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.email@example.com or call 651-366-4720.
