Annual bridge maintenance work continues in East Grand Forks

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Highway 2 in East Grand Forks can expect short term delays and lane closures on the Kennedy bridge beginning May 24, as MnDOT crews begin annual maintenance work. The highway will be reduced to one lane in each direction as well as a width limit of twelve feet. The work will be completed during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., concluding on May 24. This closure also includes the Fourth street overpass.
