MnDOT to host public meetings July 12-28 for University and Central Avenues safety study
Public welcomed to share vision for future Hwy 47 and Hwy 65 improvements
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) will host in-person and virtual meetings for people in Minneapolis, Columbia Heights, Hilltop, Fridley, Blaine, Spring Lake Park and Coon Rapids July 12 through July 28. Attendees will be invited to share their vision for potential safety improvements on Hwy 47/University Avenue and Hwy 65/Central Avenue.
A complete list of meetings is posted on the project website. An online survey will be provided on the project website in July for those unable to attend an in-person or virtual meeting.
MnDOT is asking people about concepts that may bring more safety and comfort in the long term for those who drive, walk, bike and roll on University and Central Avenues. Thousands of people have participated in the study so far, leading to the identification of safety as the primary need of people traveling on these roads.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print) for this email or event, please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.email@example.com or call 651-366-4720.
