Hwy 71 closed south of Belgrade due to water over the road
WILLMAR, Minn. – (3:00 p.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed Hwy 71 about 4.5 miles south of Belgrade due to water over the road. Traffic is being detoured on Stearns County Road 19, Stearns County Road 18, Kandiyohi County Road 5, and Highway 9. The roadway will reopen when water has receded, and crews are able to repair the shoulder.
