Hwy 40 closed near Milan Bridge due to “chandeliering” ice on the road
WILLMAR, Minn. – (12:45 p.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation has temporarily closed Highway 40 from Milan to Highway 119 due to continued “chandeliering” of ice onto the roadway from Lac qui Parle Lake near the Milan Bridge. Traffic is being detoured on Highway 7/59 to Appleton, and Highway 119 to Highway 40.
