Northbound Ferry Street/Highway 169 ramp to eastbound Highway 10 closes Monday, May 8

Roseville, Minn. – As reconstruction continues on the Ferry Street bridge crossing Highway 10 in Anoka, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will close the ramp from northbound Ferry Street/Highway 169 to eastbound Highway 10 at 6 a.m. next Monday, May 8. At the same time, the ramp from West Main St./Greenhaven Rd. to eastbound Highway 10 will reopen. Motorists who want to travel from northbound Ferry Street/Highway 169 to eastbound Highway 10 will be redirected south on Ferry Street and west on West Main Street to enter eastbound Highway 10.

The ramp from Ferry St. to eastbound Highway 10 will remain closed through the fall. The West Main Street to eastbound Hwy 10 ramp is expected to close again later this summer for additional work.

During this year’s construction closures and detours, motorists are reminded to follow the signed detours, avoid cutting through neighborhoods and allow extra travel time. A list of local detours is available on the project website.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather permitting and subject to change.

MnDOT and the city of Anoka are working together to repair aging roads and bridges and build new interchanges on the highway between Thurston Avenue and 7th Avenue in Anoka. The rebuilt road will improve traffic flow, decrease congestion and increase safety along and across Highway 10.

Construction is expected to be complete by the spring of 2024.
