Utility work on Highway 75 in Madison begins May 15

Highway 75 will be closed May 22-26

WILLMAR, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation announces that beginning Monday, May 15, the City of Madison will be doing utility work along Highway 75 from Second Street to Fifth Street.

The city project will run through June 10 and much of the work will take place under traffic. However, Highway 75 is scheduled to close for up to one week starting Monday, May 22. Traffic will be routed to First Street/Highway 40, First Avenue/County Road 19, and 250th Street/County Road 22 during the closure.

MnDOT encourages travelers to always drive with caution and to slow down in project areas for their safety and the safety of workers.
