Public encouraged to view project update video on Hwy 2 La Prairie website

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is asking the public to visit the Hwy 2 La Prairie project website for updated information on the 2024 project. Information can be found at mndot.gov/d1/projects/hwy2-laprairie/.

In the video, Project Manager Randy Costley shares information on why the project is needed, traffic impacts, timeline and more. The video is posted so those interested can view it at any time. A public meeting will be held closer to construction next spring. The project webpage also includes a recording of a previous public meeting, a map of the entire project and contact information.
