The MnDOT Library makes a vast network of transportation information available to city and county practitioners, transportation consultants, and MnDOT staff. Library services include research assistance, online resources on an extensive array of topics, and the recently launched Digital Library, which includes a repository of State Aid publications.

Researching a project? MnDOT Library professionals provide in-depth research assistance that can save you time, effort and money. They have access to a wide nexus of information providers and databases to address your unique transportation needs.

You can also search the library’s catalog to access a comprehensive collection of books, articles, videos, digital media, and more.

The recently launched MnDOT Digital Library is a public repository of publications produced by MnDOT, including documents originally created in a digital format and those that have been digitized. It features 12 collections that include research reports, State Aid publications, annual reports, state highway maps, photographs and historical publications dating back as far as 1917. To date, there are more than 2,386 items in the digital library, with plans to make thousands more available.

The State Aid Collection includes County Screening Board data and reports, County State Aid highway reports, Municipal Screening Board data, and Municipal State Aid data and reports.
