By: Rashmi Brewer, State Aid State Programs Engineer and Steve Prusak, Active Transportation Engineer
The 2023 Active Transportation (AT) and Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Infrastructure Solicitations opened on November 27, 2023, with an application submittal deadline at 4 p.m. CST on Friday, February 2, 2024. Both solicitations will run concurrently to provide funding for eligible bicycle and pedestrian improvement projects across the state.
Please check out the AT and SRTS program webpages for the online applications and important solicitation related document resources which will be helpful in learning more about each program and assist applicants in completing strong application submittals.
