Cindy Yost
Cynthia (Cindy) Yost joined Metro District State Aid as the Metro State Aid Program Manager in November 2023. Cindy has been with MnDOT for approximately 16 years. She recently returned from taking a break in service, working with the State of Maryland in a position primarily focused on budget spend plan and auditing. Cindy has previously served in many finance roles within MnDOT, both at Central Office and in the districts.
Prior to joining MnDOT, Cindy worked for 14 years in administrative and IT roles for 3M Company in the private sector. She has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Organizational Leadership and Development, and an associate's degree in Accounting, both from Rasmussen University.
“I am excited to serve in this role, it's a new adventure. This is a different side of the business than what I’m used to and think it will be a great learning opportunity,” Yost said.
Cindy is replacing longtime Metro State Aid Program Manager Sharon Lemay, who retired in April 2023.
