Mixing Concrete is Both an Art and a Science
Every batch of raw materials is slightly different. Sometimes the air is humid or the aggregate is wet; sometimes the air and aggregate are dry. These differences affect the concrete mix, so engineers mix a test batch of materials to make sure they have it right.
Concrete Has Three Main Ingredients:
Tower
Water and cement make a paste.
Arrows
Cement and Water Mixture
Aggregate (sand, gravel, and crushed stone) makes up the bulk of a concrete mixture.
The paste binds the
aggregate into a solid form.

what the slump test is for!
