Highway 28 closed to thru-traffic. Stay informed during construction, sign up for project email updates.
Current traffic impacts
- Road closed to thru-traffic. Follow detour
- Local traffic information:
- Access into Cyrus from the south, using County Road 3. The in-town detour has changed to better accommodate the remaining work in Phase 1: local traffic/residents should still enter Cyrus from County Road 3, but instead of turning right on Third Street, please turn left and use Chippewa Street to cross Highway 28.
- Expect to encounter flaggers and pilot cars from Morris to Cyrus. Be prepared to stop
- Starting June 8, lasting up to 2 weeks: from the west edge Starbuck at 300th Avenue to CR 81/320th Avenue, Highway 28 is impassable to all traffic for culvert replacements
