Highway 53 Eveleth construction traffic control changes Oct. 24

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be changing traffic control on Highway 53 in Eveleth on Friday, Oct. 24. Traffic will be shifted from the ramps and on to the Highway 53 bridges over Highway 37.

Motorists can expect lane closures at various locations on Highway 53 and shoulder closures on Highway 37 as additional work continues. Hat Trick Avenue will remain closed for about two additional weeks. Construction is expected to last through November.
