State Aid Accounting Task Force

State Aid Accounting Task Force

The Accounting Task Force is responsible for developing and reviewing accounting procedures to enable compliance with rules, regulations, statutes, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The task force works with State Aid Finance (SAF) to update the accounting manual and SAF website.

Membership is voluntary and includes two members from each district, one engineer, one state auditor, and SAF personnel. Each term lasts two years and the committee generally meets two to four times a year. Each member serves as a resource for information within their district.
