Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 11th Edition (MN MUTCD)
The Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MN MUTCD) establishes statewide standards for the design, placement, and use of traffic control devices—including signs, signals, and pavement markings. It applies to all public roads, as well as pedestrian and bicycle facilities throughout Minnesota. It helps ensure a consistent and predictable experience for everyone using our roads and active transportation networks. The MN MUTCD is based on the 11th Edition of the National MUTCD, but is tailored to fit Minnesota’s needs when possible.
