Hwy 41 Minnesota River crossing scheduled to close June 20

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Road crews will temporarily close the Highway 41 Minnesota River crossing to traffic, due to rising water levels, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

At 9 a.m. Thursday, June 20, crews will close Highway 41 north of Highway 169, from just north of Dem Con Drive in Scott County to First Street in downtown Chaska.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour.
Highway 41 will remain closed until the water recedes and crews can repair any resulting road damage.

When a road is closed, it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail. In addition, if travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change.
