Highway 53 work in Virginia to start July 8

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting a pavement resurfacing project on Highway 53 in Virginia between South 2nd Avenue West and the north ramp to Highway 169 beginning July 8. Motorists can expect lane and shoulder closures, and there will be a 10-foot lane width restriction in the work zone. Work is expected to be complete in mid-October.
