Eastbound I-94 closed for repairs this weekend from Hwy 280 to Western Avenue in St. Paul
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, the eastbound lanes of interstate 94 will close between Highway 280 and Western Avenue in St. Paul through 5 a.m. Mon, Sept. 30, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. There will also be no access to the eastbound interstate from cross streets in the project area.
The closure will allow multiple MnDOT maintenance crews to:
- inspect and repair bridge decks,
- clean and repair storm sewer drainage structures,
- remove vegetation,
- repair and replace lighting and
- remove graffiti on bridges and walls.
During the eastbound I-94 closure, motorists will detour north on Highway 280, east on Highway 36 and south on I-35E.
