New eastbound I-94 ramp closures in Washington County begin Sept. 26

Roseville, Minn. – Motorists will encounter new ramp closures as part of the pavement resurfacing on Interstate 94 in Woodbury starting Sept. 26, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Starting at 5 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, the following eastbound I-94 entrance and exit ramps will be closed to traffic until the middle of October for repaving:

  • Eastbound I-94 to Woodbury Drive/Keats Avenue North. Motorists can bypass this ramp closure using eastbound I-94, Manning Avenue, westbound I-94, and Woodbury Drive/Keats Avenue North.
  • Woodbury Drive/Keats Avenue North to eastbound I-94. Motorists can bypass this ramp closure using Woodbury Drive/Keats Avenue North, westbound I-94, Radio Drive/Inwood Avenue North, and eastbound I-94.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slow down in work zones where workers are present.

MnDOT is resurfacing the pavement and making other improvements to I-94 between Highway 120/Century Avenue and the St. Croix River through fall 2024. The work will improve safety, traffic flow and ride smoothness.
