Hwy 36 overnight road and lane closures begin Oct. 3

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter lane closures and an overnight full road closure on Highway 36 between Little Canada and Oakdale on Oct. 3, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, both directions of Highway 36 will be reduced to a single lane between Interstate 35E and I-694. Then at 1 a.m., on the same section of highway on Friday, Oct. 4, both directions of Highway 36 will fully close to allow Xcel Energy crews to relocate a power line pole.

Motorists can bypass the closure using Highway 36, Highway 120, I-694 to Highway 36. All closures will conclude by 5:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
