Highway 71 near Sanborn closed for railroad bridge work starting October 21

MANKATO, Minn. The Minnesota Department of Transportation advises motorists that Highway 71 near Sanborn will be closed October 21-25, weather permitting, as the Canadian Pacific Railroad makes repairs to the railroad bridge.

The railroad bridge was hit and damaged earlier this year. Highway 71 will be closed as crews make repairs to the bridge.

Motorists will be detoured to Highway 14, Brown County Roads 2 and 21, and Redwood County Road 11.
