Highway 169/Highway 200 roundabout construction begins June 2
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting construction of a roundabout in Hill City at the intersection of Highway 169 and Highway 200 on June 2. Motorists can expect lane shifts, temporary lane closures, and flagging operations during work hours. Through traffic on both Highway 169 and Highway 200 will be maintained at this time, but a detour for Highway 200 will be required later in the summer. Work is expected to last through October.
Additionally, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., an information meeting will be held at the Hill City Fire Department (111 Henrietta Ave, Hill City MN 55748). Information presented at the meeting will be available on the website afterwards.
