Highway 14 Stockton Hill drainage improvements completed; detour removed
STOCKTON, Minn. – Drainage improvements on Highway 14 between Stockton and Winona are completed and the road is fully open to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work began June 1. Construction crews repaired the slopes on Stockton Hill on both sides (Stockton and Winona) and improved drainage on Highway 14. This work will guard against future erosion along the slope. Crews also widened the shoulder of the road and replaced guardrail.
Highway 14 between Stockton and Winona will be repaved in a separate project in 2026. Traffic will not be detoured during the paving, but single-lane traffic will be used at times.
