iPhone application available to help workers track regular hours, breaks and overtime
The U.S. Labor Department has developed an iPhone application called DOL-Timesheet to help workers/employees independently track the hours they work and determine the wages they are owed. The app is available in English and Spanish.
Contractors, trucking companies and vendors need SWIFT IDs
Minnesota requires all vendors working on a MnDOT project to register and obtain a SWIFT Vendor ID.
MnDOT vendor number required for trucking companies
With the advent of WT CRLMS (WebTrnsport Civil Rights Labor Management System) and SWIFT (Statewide Integrated Financial Tools), trucking companies are now required to obtain a MnDOT vendor number, which can be accomplished by completing the Trucking Company/Vendor Form (Word, .1 MB) and submitting it along with all required documentation to:

MnDOT contractors are encouraged to ask trucking companies working on MnDOT jobs to obtain a vendor number as soon as possible to avoid last minute rush.
