On May 17, 2021, work started on the Hwy 60 bridge over the Mississippi River in Wabasha. The bridge is being painted and expansion joints are being replaced. The project is expected to be completed in September.
The Hwy 60 bridge will remain open with only one lane. Traffic signals will be used to direct motorists through the project in a single lane.
Occasionally the roads under the bridge will be closed and detoured to neighboring roads when work is occurring overhead.
