In 2025, MnDOT will make safety, traffic flow and signal improvements to Highway 60 in Windom between John Caldwell Drive and the Des Moines River Bridge.
MnDOT is proposing a 3-lane configuration, consisting of one through lane in each direction and a center left turn lane. This pilot project is based on a preferred option from the 2019-2020 Highway 60 Windom Corridor Study.

  • Signal replacement and ADA upgrades at 6th and 10th Streets
  • Restriping and pavement preservation for the entire project corridor
